North Callaway Shows Its Spirit

Beautiful blue skies and perfect autumn weather made the North Callaway Homecoming parade a Friday afternoon treat. Homecoming was held last week on October 8. We enjoyed a birds’-eye view as the entries wound their way past the Kingdom business office. Our bucket truck always goes for a ride in the parade, and this year it pulled a trailer loaded with the members of Cub Scout Pack 32 of Auxvasse. As you can see in the photo, they were having a good time tossing candy to the bystanders out of their bright green jack-o-lanterns.

The kids in the North Callaway Football Club held signs with best wishes for Slaten Webster. Slaten is the son of Kingdom employee Cara Webster. He was severely injured in an accident earlier that week.  Slate faces a long road to recovery, but we’re happy to report that he is improving every day.
