The Whirlwind Pace of Change

A thought-provoking article recently appeared on the blog, Money Talks News. “30 Things Babies Born in 2011 Will Never Know” discusses the changes technology has made in our lives just since the beginning of the new century and what they mean for the future. Old standbys like watches, newspapers, and maps are becoming things of the past. For the very young, these items will be museum pieces. For those of us who are middle-aged and beyond, such changes can be  bewildering. Here’s a peek at how the 2011 generation may view our world.

“If you think the world hasn’t changed in the last 10 years, then you’ve been living in a cave. Technology has changed the way we work, relax and communicate. Here are some things that are part of your life that won’t be recognized by the next generation.” http://www.moneytalksnews.com/2010/12/29/30-things-babies-born-in-2011-will-never-know/
