Windows for Beginners Class Coming Up

The spring session of the Windows for Beginners course will start on Thursday, April 28th.  Classes will be held at Kingdom Technology Solutions, 1980 N. Bluff St., Fulton, MO. (behind Dairy Queen, next to Tractor Supply). Classes will run from 9-10:30 a.m. on April 28th, May 5th, May 12th,and May 19th.

Course cost is $35 per person. Class size is limited to the first 20 people who register with payment. Please note, if you are interested in attending this course after 5 p.m., let us know. If we receive enough interest in evening classes, we will schedule an evening session in the future.

Course topics include:
–          Keyboard Basics, Tips and Tricks
–          Mouse Basics, Tips and Tricks
–          Working on the Desktop, Tips and Tricks
–          Properly Shutting Down your Computer
–          Laptop Hints
–          Email Basics, Tips and Tricks
–          Internet Surfing Basics, Tips and Tricks
–          Protecting Yourself from the Bad Stuff (viruses, spam, backing up your data, etc.)
–          Word Processing Basics, Tips and Tricks
–          Working with Files and Folders (An Introduction to Windows Explorer)
–          Other helpful tips and tricks for the beginning Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 user

If you own a laptop, you are encouraged to bring it with you.

To register, call us in Fulton at (573) 642-2800, toll free at (877) 556-1233 or drop by the Kingdom Technology Solutions store. Payment of the $35 class fee is due at the time of registration. If you plan to call in your registration request, please have your credit card information handy. Courses are open to the general public and not limited to KTIS subscribers. Applicants will be registered to participate on a first-come, first-paid basis.
