Ta Da! Announcing The Kid’s Coloring Contest Winners

Congratulations to the talented young artists who won prizes in the Coloring Contest for Kids! Thank you, as well, to Director Mike Love for serving as judge. We received many fine entries, and I imagine choosing the winner was no easy task.

In the 0-4  age group, Zack Thompson of Kansas City was the winner. Zack, who is fond of art and coloring, entered the contest when he was visiting his grandparents, who are Kingdom Telephone customers. Word is he was amazed that he won and was very pleased with his prize, a Fisher Price Classic Doodler.

In the 5-7 age group, Mexico resident Jordain Barnett was the winner. Jordain’s prize was a Tinkerbell Rolling Art Desk. She is pictured below holding her framed artwork and its blue ribbon award. The coloring page of each artist was framed and returned to them with a blue first place ribbon.

Janiya Williams was the winner in the 5-7 age group. We do not have a photograph of Janiya, who lives in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Last summer, when she was bored and looking for something to do, her mom suggested they go online to search for some coloring contests to enter. When the Kingdom contest was advertised on our website, Janiya found it. She entered and did an exceptionally fine job, adding a tree, a fence, the sun and a wheelbarrow labeled “Florida.” Janiya won a Model Magic Presto Dots Fragrant Garden Playset.

Good job, all you guys! We’re planning our second annual contest at the same time next year.
