Community Grants Help Women and Children

The Board of Directors awarded second quarter Community Grants to the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) and the Kingdom Center for Women’s Ministries, both located in Fulton.

In the photo above, Nancy Foster  of CARDV accepts a $500 community grant from Kelli Teal, Accounting Assistant. With their grant, CARDV plans
to construct a play area at their facility for children who are waiting for their own or their mother’s therapy session. The play area will be mulched and a playground set will be purchased.

The Kingdom Center for Women’s Ministries, Inc. was also awarded a $500 grant. Pictured are Becky Jungermann, Director of the Center, and Lee Stoddard, Computer Network Technician. The Center will use their grant to purchase a laptop computer  for community awareness presentations as well as presentations to potential clients. They also plan to maintain all Center documents on this machine.
